Color themes
Pick the colors JellyRock uses: one of its ready-made themes, or your own colors for the background, the highlights and the text. Each user on your Roku has a theme of their own.
Pick a theme
Section titled “Pick a theme”- Open Settings, then User Interface, then General, then Theme.
- Pick a theme.
- Leave Settings. Home rebuilds in the new colors.
The themes are JellyRock, JellyRock (Black), Emerald, Ember, Rose, Ocean, Dusk, Midnight, High Contrast and Custom.
Set your own colors
Section titled “Set your own colors”Pick Custom, then open Custom Theme Colors below Theme. Each color is a six-digit hex code, like 8B5CF6:
- Background - Primary: the main background behind everything.
- Background - Secondary: cards, panels, buttons and popups.
- Primary: the focus border and highlights that show where you are.
- Secondary: selected tabs, progress bars and other accents.
- Text - Primary, Text - Secondary and Text - Disabled: the main text, smaller hints, and items you can’t select.
A code that isn’t six hex digits is ignored, and that color stays as it was.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”- Theme and Custom Theme Colors.
- Backdrop Images: turn off the large background pictures for a plainer screen.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- The sign-in screens are in the standard colors. That’s expected: your theme applies once you sign in, and signing out goes back to the standard colors.
