Item details
Everything you select opens the same page: a movie, a show, a season, an episode, an artist, an album, a song, a person, a collection, a playlist, a photo album, a channel or a program. Once you know one, you know them all.
What’s on the page
Section titled “What’s on the page”- The title, its details, and the overview.
- A row of buttons for what you can do with this item.
- For a video, menus to pick its Video version, Audio track and Subtitles before you play it.
- Rows of related items below. Press Down from the buttons to reach them.
The buttons
Section titled “The buttons”A button shows only when it applies to the item:
- Play, Play All or Resume, and Shuffle for what has more than one item.
- Watched and Favorite, which update your server as you press them. See Favorites.
- Instant Mix on an artist, album or song. See Music.
- Play Trailer when the item has one.
- Go to Series, Go to Album, Go to Artist or Go to Channel, to move up from an episode, a song, an album or a program.
- Manage Subtitles, Delete and Record, when your account may use them. See Manage subtitles, Delete media and Live TV and recordings.
When the row doesn’t fit on screen, the last buttons move into a More menu.
The rows below
Section titled “The rows below”The rows depend on the item, and a row with nothing to show stays hidden. A movie can have Chapters, Additional Parts, Cast & Crew, Special Features and More Like This. A show has its Seasons, a person their movies and episodes, and an artist their albums and songs.
On Jellyfin 12.0 or later, Collections lists the collections the item is in. See Jellyfin 12.
