Languages
JellyRock has its own translations, so its language doesn’t depend on the languages your Roku offers. Each user on your Roku can have their own.
Choose your language
Section titled “Choose your language”- Open Settings, then User Interface, then General, then Display Language.
- Search for your language and pick it. The change takes effect when you leave Settings.
Leave it on Automatic to follow your Jellyfin language preference. With none set, JellyRock uses your Roku’s language.
The sign-in screens
Section titled “The sign-in screens”Nobody is signed in yet on the screens before Home, so they have a setting of their own: Sign-in Screen Language. Automatic uses your Roku’s language.
Text that isn’t translated yet
Section titled “Text that isn’t translated yet”Text with no translation in your language shows in English.
Help translate
Section titled “Help translate”Translations live on JellyRock’s Weblate. Add a missing string there, or fix one that reads wrong.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”- Display Language: the language of the app’s text, for each user.
- Sign-in Screen Language: the language before anyone signs in.
- Language Preferences: which audio and subtitle tracks to prefer. These choose tracks in your media, not the app’s text.
